I used to be very “conservative” (for a better lack of word) with money and when it came to shopping. But throughout the years, I have come to learn that it’s better to splurge on necessary items in order to save money in the long run oppose to buying the cheapest thing and having to buy that same item multiple times.

Below I made a list of items I splurged on and never regretted it.

  • Bedding. Spending money on these silk sheets from Parachute was the best money I have ever spent. A good nights sleep is crucial. I was tired of sleeping in luxurious sheets only at hotels. I made the decision of finally purchasing my own luxurious hotel sheets and I'm not overacting when I say OH MY GOD.

  • Designer Handbags. When it comes to styling an outfit, there is nothing like a designer handbag to make the simplest outfit look chic and “goals”. I rather spend money on a designer handbag and get affordable clothes. The perfect bag makes every outfit #inspo.

  • Good Jeans. There is nothing like a good pair of jeans and especially the ones that get better as they get older. Levis are amazing when it comes to this. The older they are the better they look, in my opinion. Yes, you are spending quite a bit on them but they are for life. Even when they have holes, they look amazing. Gives it even a more vintage feel.

  • Facial Oils. Facial oils are rapidly becoming my favorite skincare products. Your skin has to do a lot with what you eat but apart from that, how you take care of your skin and the products you use will help immensely. I am not stingy at all when it comes to skincare. I’m spending money on something I’m going to apply on my FACE.

  • Kitchen Accessories. Growing up in a home were my mom always bought a different blender after a few months. I never wanted to do this. When I moved out, I made the decision to invest in good brands that weren’t going to break after a few uses. Above is all the kitchen equipment I actually use everyday and love. If you invest in good products, you will save money in the long run.

If there is anything else worth splurging on, comment below, I would love to know what you think is worth going all out for.
